Calling all players born between 1 Sept 2010 – 31 August 2013 and who are playing in the Zooka RHBL Competition for the 2020/2021 season with their club who would like to trial for a place in the
RHBL 2020 Player Development Program in the Rookie Reps/Zooka age group.
The RHBL Player Development Program runs over several weeks compromising weekly training (early 2021) & scrimmage games on Sundays designed to improve the player’s skills.
Players will be coached by coaches from around RHBL and will get the opportunity to play in different positions with different team members each week encouraging friendships across all clubs.
Players will also participate in Tournaments with the end goal to trial for the RHBL Rookie Reps RHBL Teams competing in the Ryde Gala Day & Baseball NSW Rookie Reps Tournament in February 2021.
Last year Ryde Hawks Baseball entered 4 teams into the Baseball NSW Rookie Reps Tournament held at the home of the Hornsby Rangers with an overwhelmingly enjoyable day of baseball!!
All players are to attend the trials in their club uniform with baseball equipment & a water bottle.
Players who attend the trial without registering may be turned away as we have set numbers due to COVID19 safe protocols.

What does it cost?
Program Cost – $250 per player for those selected into the program.

If my child is successful do I register?
Players who successfully gain selection will be sent a letter of offer to be accepted and returned to confirm their place in the program. Parents will then be issued with an invoice for payment.

TOURNAMENTS & SCRIMMAGE GAMES
Attendance at all Tournaments & Games is expected.

My child is already participating in the LA10/LL or (Majors) PDP – do they have to trial for this too?
No
Do I need to pay prior to trailing for inclusion?
No, all players will be invoiced on acceptance of their place in the program.
