At Ryde Hawks Baseball League we are committed to assisting you gain the most out of your baseball experience. Whether you are a player, Coach, Umpire or Scorer we have resources which can are available to you through your season.
For the first time the League has appointed 2 Development Officers. Matt O’Neill as our Skills Development Officer will assist Clubs, Coaches & Players to not only improve their game but those they play with. Shaun Tabrett is our Marketing Development Officer who will be running school holiday clinics and raising Baseballs profile and participation in schools. If your school doesn’t play T-Ball or live ball contact Shaun and he will work with the School by organising training sessions and accrediting Teachers to become better coaches.
In 2011 Ryde Hawks became the first Junior organisation to establish their own Umpires Association directly affiliated with Baseball NSW Umpires. This outstanding step forward brings a new level of focus to Umpires so they have an immediate avenue to discuss rules & issues as they arise. The main aim is to encourage more people to Umpire and to get the most out of the experience.
Scorers are also not forgotten with regular meetings and accreditation sessions through our affiliation with the Baseball NSW Scorers Association.
