Ryde Hawks Baseball League “The Hawks” is the premier Junior Baseball League in the Sydney Metropolitan Region. First established in 1988, the Association has eleven Affiliated Clubs with the focus on providing a professionally run competition for all skill levels.

Competition follows the Little League format of the NBA to ensure every level of player can have fun and develop their skills at their own pace, playing against other baseballers of a similar skill set.

Ages Competition Competition Details
   4 – 6 Aussie T-Ball Non Competitive game to allow children to develop the basic skills and have FUN. An in house club game designed to reduce families travel time – only 1hr in duration
     7 Little League T-Ball (Competitive) Clubs are divided into 2 geographical competition areas, North & South reducing families travel time . Players hit the baseball off a stationary Tee, teams are not graded and the emphasis is on fun and friends.
  8 – 11 Little League Live ball or Zooka(Competitive) Clubs are divided into 2 geographical competition areas, North & South reducing families travel time. Games use either a pitching machine [zooka] for a consistant and safe strike zone for new, still learning or younger players with teams not graded or use a pitcher with teams graded
 12 – 18 Live Ball (Graded) Clubs are divided into 2 geographical competition areas, North & South, are graded based on skills and use a pitcher.

In addition to running Competitions, “The Hawks” are committed to providing support to assist players & officials who wish to improve their knowledge and understanding of the game for the betterment of all RHBL members
